Andrew Elvin
The founder of Purpose Real Estate, Andrew is a passionate and visionary leader of the team. His commercial and community networks as well as business acumen is a driving force behind the success of the social enterprise model and development of the agency over the years.
Andrew has 25 years prior experience as a chief executive, executive, manager and development consultant in the not for profit, government, human services, health, community housing, mental health, aged care and disability sectors in the UK and Australia.
He has extensive knowledge of community housing models and practice gained from his work as a Board Director of three community housing providers. With experience in developing and implementing ground-breaking community led programmes that have received wide international recognition.
During Andrew’s leadership at Purpose Real Estate, the Coast2Bay Housing Group have received numerous awards of recognition for social impact including inductee into the Sunshine Coast Business Network Hall of Fame.

David Rea
David is a true property professional whose real estate experience spans over a 30-year career.

Jill Smith
Jill is a residential property manager with over 10 years of property management experience on the Sunshine Coast and a Noosa local for more than 25 years.
Genuinely passionate about providing outstanding service and fostering positive relationships with both property owners and tenants, Jill is a trusted and dedicated partner in your property journey.

Susan Beaton
Susan is our agency team leader with experience in corporate, property and asset management roles in both commercial and not-for-profit sectors. She holds a Master’s in Business and a degree in training and human resources.
A licensed real estate salesperson since 2022, she has also completed the REIQ Job Ready program and has embraced a career change into a business where property decisions align with social impact.
A Sunshine Coast local since 1995, Susan understands the local market. She leads our property management team to ensure each rental property is optimised, maintained, and cared for to the highest standard as if it was her own.
With more than twenty-five years supporting community and sporting groups in paid and volunteer roles, Susan is passionate about community development. This core value has led her to work at Purpose, Queensland’s first social enterprise real estate guiding the growth and development of our rent roll.

Hope Hitchen
Hope is new to our property management team in 2026 and will be working as a Property Manager.
She previously worked in the Community Housing sector for many years before starting a family and her genuine interest in real estate and a people first approach makes her a natural fit to property management.
Having grown up on the Sunshine Coast and a local for over 40 years, Hope has deep knowledge of the area. She has bought and sold properties locally and has previous experience in tenancy management, prior sales background and has just refreshed her knowledge by completing the real estate sales and property management training course.
A talent for always finding the positives and solutions to challenges, Hope strives to provide exceptional customer service to both tenants and landlords.

Kristy Burns
Kristy is a seasoned business professional who brings a depth of experience in both finance and property operations. Her role in our property management team is finance including trust accounting and compliance, along with providing invaluable all-round support.
With a career spanning over two and a half decades, Kristy brings 16 years of banking experience. This background provides an invaluable edge for our clients, offering a sophisticated understanding of lending, financial strategy, and the economic drivers that impact the property market.
In addition, Kristy has spent the last 10 years owning and operating a successful real estate agency where she managed the rent roll. This firsthand experience means she understands the intricacies of asset protection and the importance of seamless communication from the ground up.
As a long-time Sunshine Coast resident, Kristy possesses an intimate, “local-first” knowledge of our unique coastal and hinterland markets.
